We have formed a landmark agreement with leading regional property asset manager, Place Partnership.

The privately-owned contractor was selected as Place Partnership’s single point service partner for hard facilities management services until 2023.

This will include building fabric maintenance and the repair of essential systems such as heating and ventilation, all of which comprise a significant proportion of Place Partnership’s services.

Through its relationship with Place Partnership, we have committed to the provision of around £7m of social value and will engage with the local workforce and supply chain to ensure delivery of services.

Brendan Devlin, GRAHAM Managing Director – Facilities Management, said:

“This relationship with Place Partnership is an ideal amalgamation of our expertise in managing large-scale service delivery and their understanding and needs of their clients and the regional marketplace.

“We are engaging local or existing suppliers and have already hosted an engagement day which saw around 100 companies expressing an interest in joining us. This is an excellent start to our relationship with Place Partnership and through their understanding of the region and established links to the local supply chain and employment networks, we are looking forward to a prosperous working relationship.”

Amalgamation

Place Partnership was initially formed from the amalgamation of facilities and property management services from six local authorities, with the intention of creating a single organisation to rationalise and streamline delivery of services while reducing overall costs.

It now delivers services across the region, with a growing portfolio of land and property assets for clients in both the public and private sectors, including local authorities, schools, and the police, fire and healthcare services.

Andrew Pollard, Managing Director at Place Partnership, said:

“We are naturally very proud of our association with GRAHAM. The company has significant operational expertise and will be able to generate real added value and cost efficiencies for our customers through service quality and strategic amalgamation of lower value, more management intensive contracting.

“The vision and value demonstrated by GRAHAM through the tendering process made them the outstanding choice and we look forward to a strong relationship in delivering the very best quality facilities management services to our clients.

“Our imperative is to improve the quality of the buildings that we service, enhancing our customer’s workplaces, driving enhanced levels of productivity and being recognised as the regional facilities management supplier of choice.”

Alongside facilities management, Place Partnership delivers strategic asset management, energy management, valuation and estates management, schools property services and project management.
